Professor Hanna-Mari Baldauf has been appointed to the EVIM-NET Steering Committee to represent Germany as part of the EU network project COST – European Cooperation in Science & Technology

Prof. Hanna-Mari Baldauf has been nominated for the Management Committee of the project ‘European network for animal evolutionary immunology: interlinking laboratory and wildlife infection biology’ (EVIM-NET). The project is currently establishing a Europe-wide research network in the field of animal evolutionary immunology and links wildlife research with experimental animal-based laboratory research on infection biology. By bringing together evolutionary ecological and immunological approaches, EVIM-NET promotes interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and the development of new research approaches in line with One Health strategies to address current global health issues. Prof. Hanna-Mari Baldauf is also one of the Stakeholder Engagement Coordinators and, in this role, is responsible for communication and the flow of information to potential stakeholders involved in the project.
